This is a
picturer of what I call the Air Control Assembly. It consist of
the clean out cap, solenoid sprinkler valve, and the air guage/air
fill assembly. The wires go to the electrical system part of the
gun. I outlined some of the harder to see parts. Notice the
"4-way" fitting holds the air fill valve, air guage and
if the plug is removed has a place for a pressuer relief valve
for safety, I would recommend a 100 to 120psi max when using 4
inch pipe as I did.
This is my gun<black thing> with the intechangable barrels. The 2" barrel built into the gun has a threaded coupleing on the end so that I can screw no smaller barrels. The smaller ones fit INSIDE the 2" barrel. The 3" one just screws on the end.
Here are the inner parts of my air cannon. The bumper was made from some 3/8" ID fuel line and spliced together with a short piece of vacume line with a 3/8" OD and some glue.
Here it should be noted that I no longer use the piston. It was too short and would turn and get stuck in the air chamber after firing . I now use the piston shown here.

This is the electronics part of the gun... used to fir the gun.
